Phoenix

by Mark
(UK)

I wake in my coffin once again, time to die?
Knees can't bend, hands won't move, so tired.
Phoenix, Phoenix come to life and spread my wings to set me free.
Not your turn yet, it will take years to die.
Just wait in your coffin until it's your turn to fly.

I feel the same

I think the analogy between one's body and a coffin is so apt. The thing that keeps me going is the knowledge that one day I will be allowed to fly and then I'll be free, free from these chains for eternity.

We'd also like you to know it doesn't cost one cent more  when you click through the links here on our blog. Not one single penny. And we will make a little extra cash when you do click through. We'll be ever so appreciative. You also have our word that we'll only link to things that we would use ourselves, (or wish we could have or use).
