My Inspiration

Good evening Mr. Montel....,

I know you probably won't read this, but I'm writing in hopes that you do. Recently, I was diagnosed with MS, and it affects my right leg and my walking. Today my Mom said to me are you going to give up or fight.

I want very badly to fight this and walk. My life now consist of work, home and church. I don't do anything because I don't want people saying I'm too slow. Yes, I'm slow but I keep to point A and B.

My birthday is May 5th, I had my getaway all paid for, but when this happened I cancelled everything because I felt that I was not going to be able to enjoy myself. I'm going to pray and fight because my desire is to walk.

Sometimes it's hard to stand and cook a meal. I think the meds that I'm on is causing me to gain weight. Can't really do any walking, can't afford a treadmill, so I TRY to do a little exercise in doors. If you get this please respond by saying I GOT IT.
My email address is hiswil4u@msn.com

Thanks,

Terri Devine

I was diagnosed in 2003 right before thanksgiving with double vision. After I recouped from it, 6 months later, well not perfect but OK now. 2013 I had super stress at work etc.

I was working from home for a large multi-million dollar company. One day at lunch my right side was paralyzed. Check out my art post called "rise above"! I am no longer working and am trying to get SSD. Was denied twice and awaiting court hearing.

I can't really drive or type. But I can stand and dress myself, because I didn't want to be having to depend on others, I didn't want to be helped. We are independent and strong. My main goal was to be able to drive and my therapy was painting, which helps. And I now paint with my left.

Be happy, you're strong. I can't type but I can swipe on phone with my Right ;-)
