I was at work one day after my diagnosis with MS. I had the tingling in both my hands and feet. With my feet feeling the way that they were I still decided to wear heels (bad idea). I fell in my office and co-workers had to take me to Health Services and I was forbidden to drive after I got off from work.
That was a lesson learned the hard way. Now I have cute flats that I wear with my business suits, as well as sneakers for another option. You are absolutely correct, you have got to laugh at yourself rather than cry (because I've done a lot of that). But I now have the attitude that I have MS and I'm still here.

Dear Friends,
"Life in Spite of MS is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We're also part of the Ebay Partner Network, another affiliate program."
We'd also like you to know it doesn't cost one cent more when you click through the links here on our blog. Not one single penny. And we will make a little extra cash when you do click through. We'll be ever so appreciative. You also have our word that we'll only link to things that we would use ourselves, (or wish we could have or use).
Sincerely,
Cir & Akrista
