Doing some decorating, I hope

People of the World
I love this graphic; it speaks to me of the fact we are all one in this world--one in our triumphs and in our tragedies. We stand precariously on top of the world, all of us - as one, bound - by our human-ness.
We are joined with all the other people across the world who also have MS. We may all be different, just as we know each case of MS is unique, but we are all people who share in the fact our bodies have been invaded by MS.
There's no doubt a lot more which we share other than damaged myelin. Some day we'll share in a cure! Right now we all share in a hope. We share in the promise of stem cell research and the gene study; we cling to the success of medications and drugs. I want to think we're nearing the time when we can stop multiple sclerosis from doing so much damage. I want to think our time is almost here--and I'm going to today!
Let's All Have a GREAT Life in Spite of MS!
