World MS Day Petition

by Ayesha Ali
(UK)

We still need people to sign the 2011 World MS Day petition.

As you all know we are collecting signatures on a petition asking governments and employers to remove the barriers that prevent people with MS from accessing work.

Thanks to you we've already reached 14,800 signatures! That's 2500 more than last month.

Even so, we are still a long way off our target of 20,000, and we have just one month to raise more than 5000 more signatures.

We need your help! Tell 3 people about the petition and help us reach our target.

Petition update

Ayesha Ali, MSIF Campaigns Manager, updates us on the petition so far, and talks about how you can help us raise awareness about work and MS by creating your own short films. Watch the video.

Tell us about working with MS!

We want to hear about your experiences of working with MS. Create a short 1-2 minute film and upload it to youtube to share it with the world!

Don't forget to include the link to the petition on your films when you upload them.

Share the link on the World MS Day Facebook page or use the #worldmsday hashtag on twitter.

Thank you to everyone who has signed the petition. We will keep you up to date with our progress over the coming weeks and months.

Dear Friends,

"Life in Spite of MS is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We're also part of the Ebay Partner Network, another affiliate program."

We'd also like you to know it doesn't cost one cent more  when you click through the links here on our blog. Not one single penny. And we will make a little extra cash when you do click through. We'll be ever so appreciative. You also have our word that we'll only link to things that we would use ourselves, (or wish we could have or use).

Sincerely,

Cir & Akrista
