Pain in Left Side...

...Near Thigh Bone

I have been having pain in my left side for a couple of weeks now. It comes and goes. And I'm really getting tired of it. Does anyone seem to know what could be causing this type of thing???

Please, any suggestions on what I should do??? Most of the time I just put a hot compress over it, but then it comes back later the next week or so.

Please help.

Sounds Like Neuropathy

Hi there,

Pain that comes from no obvious source is, for MSers, most likely neuropathic (or nerve pain). At least that's what it sounds like to me. I'm not an expert or anything like that, but that's what it seems like it could be.

Ask your doctor if it could be neuropathy. If you don't mind taking medication for this symptom, there are a few that will help - neurontin/Gabapentin - to name one. Cir has been taking this for years. It seems to stop the pain.

If you want something more natural, try a good quality B 100 Complex and natural Vitamin E.

Thank you soo much for advise on left side pain... I do definitely take a B-100 vitamin. I also take B-12. I'm gonna have to ask her about the neuropathy thing though...
