MS brought out the Artist in me

by Diana de Avila
(Sarasota, FL)

Hello again!

It's been a long time ... but I was one of your interviews (just saw myself on your page). You came up in my Google search ... so we meet again. My name is Diana de Avila and I have RRMS.

I started creating art - both digital and traditional methods - after a relapse in June 2017. Something in my brain wanted to open up after some steroid mania.

I started exploring digital art and this spawned into traditional art with acrylics. I have no training in this but am working on that ... something new in me was born. Maybe I lost some inhibition. I've never created art before (outside of music).

Music has become harder for me, so I needed another outlet. It's been fun and rewarding. I've decided to take a class on abstracts so I can learn techniques, etc.

The works are blank canvases and I am never sure where they will go.

It was nice to stumble upon Life in Spite of MS ... again. :-)

New Art Website
by: Diana de Avila

After my MS relapse and rewiring, I have been creating more art and actually got into my first juried art show (something I would never have imagined in a million years).

Art website is: http://www.dianadeavila.com

It has my art and my art story without having to be an outside website. What a fun journey this art world is!
