Instant Stay at Home Dad

I had a seizure that led me to get a brain MRI, a diagnosis of MS, and no driving for six months without a seizure. I have been building houses and remodeling for 20 years. Now I can't do that because the doctor says too dangerous.

I'm not complaining though because it will just lead me to doors that I would never open, and now I have time. And I have the coolest, most supportive woman, that I have ever met, for a wife.

It's always encouraging to hear stories of Say at Home Dad's, especially when it's due to health. This is my reason for myself been a Stay at Home Dad. Mine isn't MS, but Epilepsy.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for sharing. The sudden change in your health must have been a shock. Going from active to at home in a short amount of time, would be difficult for most people.

It's great that you have a supportive spouse by your side and have embraced your new role as a reason to go on for the sake of your children.
